SIR: BLOs to visit homes of those issued notices, personal hearings only in exceptional cases; read full ECI statement

The Election Commission said SIR notices over unmapped entries or logical discrepancies will generally not require personal hearings, with BLOs visiting homes to collect documents. Hearings will be held only in exceptional cases, preferably online, it added.
