China allocates $33.7 million for emergency disaster relief in five provinces

China's Ministry of Emergency Management on Monday urgently allocated 240 million yuan (about $33.7 million) in central natural disaster relief funds to support rescue efforts in five provinces affected by floods and geological disasters.
