Alberta's Smith says separation now dead issue, rules out second referendum

Premier Danielle Smith says that Albertans have spoken in Monday's referendum and, as long as she’s in power, separation is a dead issue. Smith, in a TV address to the province, also says challenges with Ottawa will be handled in the courts or through political channels.
