Beyond melodrama: Khajepasha on war, childhood and duty of Iranian cinema

TEHRAN- Iranian filmmaker Babak Khajepasha believes cinema should do more than portray suffering. For him, a film dealing with war, the death of children, or a social tragedy should leave audiences with questions rather than simply tears.
