Detransitioner appeals malpractice case after state law change

A detransitioner’s malpractice lawsuit against doctors she says counseled her for years to undergo a double mastectomy and begin hormone therapy was initially dismissed as untimely, but a new North Carolina law has allowed her to appeal. The state Court of Appeals will hear arguments on Sept. 29. Pr
