Labour to keep ‘disaster’ school lunch programme the same next year

Labour has confirmed its plans to reinstate a locally made school lunch programme would not come into play until the 2028 school year meaning the cheaper scheme it has labelled “outrageous” and a “disaster” would remain in place for 2027.
