Bill C-39 impedes right to strike, unions say

Bea Bruske, president of the Canadian Labour Congress, said the Liberal government’s proposed Bill C-39 would roll back the right to strike. Jobs Minister Patty Hajdu said the legislation is meant to encourage unions and employers to focus on getting a negotiated deal.
