Businessman jailed after using money for home renovations as $1.4m tax bill went unpaid

A Christchurch man who used money owed to Inland Revenue to pay creditors, employee wages and personal expenses has been sentenced to two years and three months in prison for tax offences totalling nearly $1.4 million.
