Canada “not looking” to be EU member, but will soon begin discussions for “unique alliance”: Carney

Ahead of a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron next week, reports suggest Prime Minister Mark Carney is working to make Canada a European Union (EU) member. Asked about this at TIFF on Sunday, Carney clarified that while he was “not looking” to become a member, that dis
