Yellow River's highest hydropower plant sees record year-to-date power output

The Maerdang Hydropower Station, the highest-altitude hydropower project on the Yellow River, operated by China Energy Investment Corporation’s Qinghai Branch, had generated over 5 billion kWh of electricity this year as of Monday, up 21.51% year-on-year, setting a new record for the same period.
