Chicago’s vacant 32-acre site gets $127m housing redevelopment plan

The Chicago city council has recently granted approval for redevelopment plans at the LeClaire Courts site. The initial phase will feature two six-story buildings containing 183 apartments and a childcare facility, with approximately 90 percent of the units designated for low-income households. Set
