Moroccan Mayor Sentenced to Eight Months in Case of Woman’s Death

A Moroccan court has sentenced the head of a local council to eight months in prison for failing to help a woman who later died after being taken from a hotel to a hospital in Midelt. The Midelt Court of First Instance also fined the mayor of Moulablad municipality in Errachidia province MAD 2,500.
