Shakespeare's Globe will use 14,000 reed bundles for its £10m new roof

Shakespeare’s Globe in London is set for a major roof replacement nearly 30 years after the reconstructed theatre opened. The £10 million project will use traditional thatching and around 14,000 bundles of reed instead of modern roofing materials. The Globe’s original roof used 6,000 bundles of Norf
