Apple's Mayday is jingoistic nostalgia. And it totally works

Kenneth Branagh and Ryan Reynolds are both in top form in the action comedy Mayday, says CBC film reviewer Jackson Weaver: Branagh as the charismatically kind former-KGB death machine, and Reynolds as the U.S. navy pilot who finds himself trapped behind enemy lines in the U.S.S.R
