Beijing records 8.78 mln tourist visits, $1.72 bln in tourism spending during Mid-Autumn holiday

Beijing recorded 8.783 million tourist visits during the three-day Mid-Autumn Festival holiday from Sept. 25 to 27, generating 11.54 billion yuan ($1.72 billion) in tourism spending, according to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism.
