French court classifies 1943 Nazi-era roundup as crime against humanity

Some 20,000 people were displaced in the raids, carried out in January 1943 on orders from the Nazis, with the Vichy regime's active collaboration, in an area of Marseille's historic center that was a known hub for people of immigrant origin.
