Shady NYC piercing shop butchered woman’s tongue, sending her to ER: lawsuit

A tongue piercing from hell allegedly left Elsa Weingeist, 25, with “massive bleeding,” severe injuries and a trip to the emergency room after an employee at a shady East Village shop repeatedly jabbed her tongue with a needle, according to a new lawsuit.
