Switzerland bans import of Sudanese gold over war-financing concerns

Switzerland will ban the purchase, import and transit of gold originating from Sudan as part of efforts to curb revenue reportedly financing the country’s WAR. The Swiss Government said measures would take effect on Thursday, 10 September 2026. The restrictions also prohibit related services and fin
