The Danube River, one of Europe's largest rivers, has hit a record low in the Devin borough of Bratislava, Slovakia, with its average daily flow falling to 575.9 cubic meters per second on October 5, the Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) said on Tuesday.
