Track laying begins on key Guangzhou-Foshan rail link, completing Greater Bay Area inner loop

Construction on the Guangzhou-Foshan West Intercity Railway reached a major milestone Tuesday as crews began laying continuous long rails, moving the project into its track installation phase following the completion of all tunneling and bridge structures.
